Lynne Schulte was the presenter at the April demo. She shared her experience “Remembrance – Pink Chair Project”, with a slide show presentation. The project is a love story for her mother painted after her passing.

Lynne sensed her mother’s presence while painting an Adirondack chair of her mother’s favorite color – bright, knock-your-socks-off pink. After the initial surprise of that experience, Lynne began placing the chair into various locations which had special meaning to the artist or her mother. In this way, the artist has created a cohesive body of work that shines as individual paintings as well as a sensitive and powerful grouping.

Lynne says; “My art knows where I’m going, and it always gets there first!”

The next demo is June 25.
