Featured Artist: Henri Martin

Henri Martin is the featured member artist for November and December in the Art Niche at the Innovation Hub (UMass Lowell at Harbor Place, 2 Merrimack Street, Haverhill).

Henri is a self-taught landscape painter who works in oils.

More about Henri:

Henri Martin has always responded and found inspiration in the landscape that surrounds him. Texture, shape, color, and interpretation have always translated in his work.

With a BFA Ceramic Arts / Alfred University, Henri also excelled as a studio potter. As co- owner of Brook Street Pottery, he taught art and ceramic arts to various schools and workshops in the Metro West area of Boston and abroad.

Now retired from pottery, Henri is a self taught landscape painter that that enjoys using oils in his home studio and en plein air.

Henri has an extensive collection of ceramic works and paintings in private collections.
