Welcome to the website of the Greater Haverhill Arts Association, the cornerstone of the area’s blossoming art scene. Since 1971 the GHAA has provided artists and enthusiasts with a sense of community as well as opportunities to share their art.

Our various artist members work in every medium: acrylic, oil, pastel, watercolor, drawing, sculpture, mixed media, photography, and printmaking. A number of them accept commissions for landscapes, still lifes, or portraits (people, pets, buildings).

One of the ways we support artists is to offer twice- monthly workshops for learners of all ages and skills. Another is to present painting demonstrations by esteemed professional artists. Both opportunities are open to the public.

Our mission is to promote art and artists and to keep art integral to our lives and accessible and affordable for all.

Thanks to all who made it a wonderful day - including those scrambling to the aid of neighboring artists to save their goods from the sudden downpour at the end of the day.

Be sure to mark your calendars for next year, when we will be holding the

He loves being out in nature and painting on location even in winter – Lowell, Ogunquit, Cape Ann –  and uses his own sketches and photos to finish work in his studio.

He has been the artist-in-residence at the Whistler House in Lowell, and presently maintains a studio at Western Avenue in
