In Memoriam

on Sun, 06/05/2016 - 10:04pm
The GHAA mourns the passing of Dena Carbone on May 30 at the age of 103. She attended the Montserrat College of Art in Beverly and was an accomplished and well-known artist in oils, watercolors, and pastels. A longtime member of the Greater Haverhill Art Association, she initiated the GHAA art workshops in 1982 and served as the director until 2011. The workshops continue the second and fourth Saturdays of each month at the First Church of Christ in Bradford, her lasting legacy in the GHAA.
